Terms & safety
Terms & Safety v2 · effective 10 July 2026
Mom's Club is an introduction platform for adults in a local mutual-aid community. It helps people find one another; it does not vet or employ childcare providers, drivers, medical professionals, or other service providers.
Stay safe in person
Use your own judgement before sharing information or agreeing to help. Meet in a public place first, tell someone you trust where you are going, and do not give anyone an exact home address until you are comfortable. You are responsible for deciding whether an arrangement is safe and suitable.
Mom's Club is not an emergency service. Contact local emergency services when someone is in immediate danger.
Acceptable use
Be honest, respectful, and lawful. Do not post threats, harassment, discrimination, sexual content, scams, malware, or requests that put someone at unreasonable risk. Never post identifying information about children, exact home addresses, passwords, financial details, or unnecessary health information.
Your content and moderation
You keep ownership of what you submit and give Mom's Club permission to store and display it as needed to run the service. Use the Report link to notify the Mom's Club moderators about abusive, unsafe, or unlawful content. We may remove content, restrict an account, or preserve information where necessary to investigate a report or comply with law.
Matching information
You may add languages, gender, date of birth, and self-reported childcare training to help match requests. Your date of birth is private and is used only for matching your age; it is not shown on your public profile. Language, gender, and training information may be shown on your member profile when you choose to provide it. Childcare training is self-reported and is not verified by Mom's Club.
Request requirements are personal preferences for informal, in-home help between private individuals – not job offers, and not guarantees or endorsements. Use them for care fit, not to exclude or demean anyone.
Accounts and ending use
Keep your login secure and tell us if you think it has been compromised. You can delete your account from your Profile page. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, safety concerns, or legal reasons.
Availability and liability
The service is provided on an evolving, reasonable-efforts basis. To the extent allowed by law, Mom's Club is not liable for another member's conduct, an in-person arrangement, or an interruption of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited or your statutory rights.
Operator and governing law
Mom's Club is currently a small-scale, invitation-based community test operated privately by its founder. A legal entity (association or foundation) will be established before any public launch, and these terms will be updated to name it. You can reach the operator through the Contact page. Dutch law applies, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
Versioning
Wording and spelling corrections do not change the version. Material changes to rights, obligations, safety, or privacy do increase it and require a new acceptance.
Private test project. The operator identity, legal form, and contact address will be confirmed before public launch.
